Let me tell you, that bus tour was quite a days work. The bus picked us up from the Excalibur hotel at 6:15 a.m. then took us to Planet Hollywood where we officially checked in and got a little breakfast snack (pop tarts). The three hour bus ride brought us to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon which is home to the famous SkyWalk. Unfortunately they do not allow you to take any cameras onto the SkyWalk which was quite disappointing for me! So there are no SkyWalk photos but I do have many of the Grand Canyon and its greatness! We explored Eagle Point, Guano Point, and a little Indian Village.
The beginning of May I finally went to the Grand Canyon for the first time in my life. My husband and I took a nice relaxing trip down to Mesquite, Nevada and took a Grand Canyon bus tour out of Las Vegas one of the days.

A while back I did an adorable shoot with little Baby Betty. Let me tell you, I think she is one of the most stylish babies I have seen. This is to be expected considering her mother, Crystal, is always styling the cutest clothes and jewelry! Her first outfit was her "rocker" attire in hot pink with the zebra leggings. She spent most of this time staring at my strange clicking contraption I had in her face. I think this outfit included some of the most adorable facial expressions as if she was saying, "What in the world are you doing?" I had the privilege of taking couples photos for Tonee and Aaron. The happy couple is getting married on May 20th in Bountiful. They decided to go ahead and do their couples photos before the wedding so they could actually take the opportunity to enjoy the photo session and not feel rushed on the day of the wedding. Looking back, I think this is something I wish I had done with my wedding. On your wedding day you are so stressed for time and everyone is wanting you to say "Hi" to your great uncle or an out of state family friend. This shoot gave Tonee and Aaron time to really get the photos they wanted. And we of course still got the classic photo of when Aaron first saw Tonee in her dress. That look is always priceless! I think that one of my favorite parts of Tonee's attire was her hot pink shoes. I had to be sure to get lots of pictures of those! |

Here is a closer look at my adventures in photography as I go off on my next shoot or I experiment with new techniques I am learning. I hope you can learn from some of the things I am doing and perhaps you can share some opinions and insight on my photographic work. Categories
