Getting to practice with maternity shoots isn't always easy considering that you actually need to find someone that is pregnant in the first place and willing to let you play around. You also need to schedule it for the perfect time when there is enough belly to shoot. I was lucky because I had my sister Angel who is due July 26th with my little nephew, Remington.
These photos were a lot of fun because it just gave us a chance to play around with several things I have seen in maternity photos and not have any worries on time constraints (I think the photoshoot ended up going for three hours!). And since I was her sister than she felt totally comfortable around me to expose her belly and humor me when I wanted to attempt a shot that I wasn't sure of how to get set up. In the end I am thrilled with the shots I got and even better, so was she! Enjoy!
I just loved these little fish shoes! They remind me of "Finding Nemo."
We also had to get some shots of my niece with her little brother.
Now once little Remington is born, I can start practicing with newborn photography!
