She also wanted to include the army jacket and boots from her Husband to Be in some of her photos. I think they gave it a fun touch!
Just a few photos of Jennifer up Millcreek Canyon about a month before her wedding. I must say that I LOVE her dress and the netting is a perfect touch for the vintage look she was going for.

Last month I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Doug and Traci Peterson. Here are a few shots from her bridals that I took a couple weekends before the wedding.
When planning a wedding you spend hours upon hours obsessing about the little details, planning out the centerpieces, making decorations, searching for the perfect accessories, and ordering the beautiful flowers. The day of the wedding these are the things that everyone else gets to enjoy but the bride and groom are usually so busy greeting everyone that they rarely have a chance to step back and admire the fine work they have done over the months of planning. This is why I think it is essential to get the shots of the details at the wedding. Just those little things that you can look back at and feel satisfaction at the glorious work you put into that wedding day. Here are some of the detail shots I took from the latest wedding of Aaron and Tonee. I am thrilled that Tonee and Aaron allowed me to be part of their special day on May 20, 2010 in Bountiful, Utah. The reception was beautiful with their lime, orange and pink color scheme which brought the spirit of summer to life! And you may notice that I just couldn't help but take tons of photos of all the adorable kids. I wish you both all the best and thank you again for letting me be a part of your wedding day! I had the privilege of taking couples photos for Tonee and Aaron. The happy couple is getting married on May 20th in Bountiful. They decided to go ahead and do their couples photos before the wedding so they could actually take the opportunity to enjoy the photo session and not feel rushed on the day of the wedding. Looking back, I think this is something I wish I had done with my wedding. On your wedding day you are so stressed for time and everyone is wanting you to say "Hi" to your great uncle or an out of state family friend. This shoot gave Tonee and Aaron time to really get the photos they wanted. And we of course still got the classic photo of when Aaron first saw Tonee in her dress. That look is always priceless! I think that one of my favorite parts of Tonee's attire was her hot pink shoes. I had to be sure to get lots of pictures of those! |

Here is a closer look at my adventures in photography as I go off on my next shoot or I experiment with new techniques I am learning. I hope you can learn from some of the things I am doing and perhaps you can share some opinions and insight on my photographic work. Categories
